Formally they had just been lumped in with all our other bioactive fauna. Not surprising since these critters make an excellent component of a bioactive tank.
However, with 2024 being YEAR OF THE ISOPOD, the number of species we maintain and offer has grown immensely, so a separate section in the shop only made sense given this expansion.

get 'em while they last
Available starting AUGUST 1st from the OIF are discoid roaches - these are legally permitted in Canada now and we were sure to get some of the first group imported. These roaches are large, can't climb or fly, and are easy to kept & breed making them great feeders. Their main drawback is how long they take to mature- as long as 3 or 4 months!
These insects are a hot ticket item and due to high demand but low supply we are limiting each customer to 50 roaches for the time being.
We hope to breed enough of these roaches that in the future we can lower the price, offer both adults and nymphs, and lift the customer limit
