This species is one of the OIF's most versatile and adaptable species of isopod. They come in a wide range of colours, have a relatively soft exoskeleton, are super dry tolerant, and breed quickly. These features make them suitable for use as clean-up crews or feeders.
 
We offer this species in several morphs; Blue ("wild type"), Orange, Oreo Crumbles, and Creamsicle. Our "Party Mix" option is a random mix of all our morphs.
